RESPITE DAY - Every Thursday at the Senior Center 11am-2:30pm Please contact ginilc25@gmail.com for details. Lunch, singing, art, games, rich conversation all at no cost to the care recipient.

 

HOT TOPICS IN CARE, CAREGIVING, AND DEMENTIA INFORMATION - Every Thursday at Pleasant Senior Center 9am-10:30. All materials provided. Rich conversation - FREE.

Winnemucca Alzheimer's Support Group the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Humboldt General Hospital at noon. Lunch provided. This meeting is designed for caregivers so that they can share the events and worries surrounding caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or other dementia. We welcome all and if perhaps dementia is not your concern, caring for a loved one may be. Join us for conversation, information on resources, and friendly, non-judgmental support.

Upcoming May 13-14, 2025 - Brain Health Summit 8am-4:30 at Winnemucca Convention CEtner. $50 registration fee (maybe waived).

​

May 31, 2025 - Annual Sprint Triathlon - Individuals (swim, bike, run) or group where 2 or 3 members split up the activities. Registration fee is $35 that includes wonderful goodies and all proceeds stay local for respite and education.

​
